Welcome
Jeans Creative Sewing was
opened in downtown Crete, Nebraska in
1987 by Jean Harre. In 2000 Jim Harre joined Jean's Creative Sewing adding
upholstery and
commercial sewing to our
services.
We specialize in
custom sewing and
alterations.
The current store manager, Joyce Bessler was hired in 2001. Both
Jean and Joyce have
several years experience in sewing factories
working in quality control.
In 2002 we started making Czech vests for Crete locals
to wear at the Wilber, NE Czech Festival, which
is located just 10 miles from our store in
Crete. We set up a booth at Wilber
Czech Days and we have been very successful with both
the local people and visitors with Czech
heritage.
We have expanded our line each year to
include vests, skirts, blouses, and aprons. We
sell garments separately or as a set. We have a
good selection of garments in our store or we also
do custom design. We use machine
embroidery and can personalize your order. We
produce top quality garments which are individually
made for customer satisfaction. Our costumes are
idea for dancers and queens as well as anyone who
attends Czech Festivals. They are reasonably priced
and we accept most major credit cards. We will be
happy to work with you to create something special.
